The Savinelli Autograph line features pipes individually hand carved by the Italian marques best artisans, allowing them freedom of creative expression in crafting intricate, personal pieces that defy established convention. This bent Dublin features a paneled stem and shank, clean ridgelines running from button to transition, or heel, before suddenly dissipating, the heel's traveling just a bit further, defining the sides of the bowl. The heel is pronounced, sweeping, and the bowl flows out of it with a palpable height, terminating at a rim crowned with plateau that features a chamfered internal slope, overlooking a chamber with almost two full inches of depth and enough breadth to accommodate a thumb. The overall profile of this pipe places the entirety of the visual weight on the bowl, the shank's slow flare suddenly exploding into the hand-filling chunk of briar, lithely bent stem providing a degree of levity and visual balance. The stummel is dressed in a light mahogany stain, revealing a tight shroud of flame grain, intersected on the right flank with visible growth rings.
