Handmade by a single experienced artisan from start to finish, the pipes in Savinelli's Autograph line deviate from the Italian marque's standard shape chart, opting for more whimsically shaped and individualistic designs. This bent Billiard certainly fits well into those conventions, with a rim that dramatically favors the fore over the aft and a pronounced ridgeline encircling the lower bowl just above the transition. A sleek oval shank stretches out back, with a barely discernible lift, before giving way to a tapered stem of jet-black acrylic, which subtly downturns for a comfortable smoking position. It's dressed in a warm, affable smooth finish that accentuates the stunning, flowing streaks of flame grain across all sides of the bowl, and the pinpricks of birdseye on top of the rim.
