Savinelli Autograph: Artisan Bent Billiard (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Hewing a bit more toward traditional English shaping, this Savinelli Autograph was fashioned from select briar and handcrafted by the Italian workshop's artisans. The line often produces wild, Freehand-like renditions, but this (barely) bent Billiard is also part of the Artisan series, which makes for more conservatively shaped briars. The hearty bowl is thick-walled and rounded with a sloping, chamfered rim along with a plump base that results in a voluptuous, easy feel in hand, with a tapering shank and stem of more slender dimensions adding support. The stummel is wearing a rich auburn stain that suits this form perfectly, bringing out birdseye and fiery licks of flame grain on both bowl and shank.
