Pipes in Savinelli's Autograph line are handcrafted from select blocks of briar by one of the marque's talented artisans. The results, like this bent Billiard, are distinctive and eye-catching, as the carvers don't have to conform to Savinelli's standard shape start. This piece pairs a broad, thick, Pot-like bowl to a high-kicking shank and an arcing tapered stem. The softly inflated rim presides over the bowl's subtle taper toward the firm, slightly pronounced heel. The stummel wears a warm, auburn-hued smooth finish that showcases handsome streaks of flame grain on either flank of the bowl and fetching birdseye across the rim, while a swirling, multicolored acrylic mouthpiece adds a dose of vibrancy to the overall composition.
