Savinelli's prestigious Autograph line gives creative freedom to the workshop's experienced artisans, who carve the pipe by hand. Lengthy, tall and large, this bent Dublin boasts a flaring rim and shank face crowned in craggy plateau, lending textural diversity to its otherwise smooth finish. A hearty piece, it's topped by a shank that expands out of a tight transition, while a jet-black, stylish stem turns downward, offsetting the bowl's forward cant. A warm auburn finish cloaks the stummel, showing off some striking flame grain, while the bowl houses plenty of chamber for holding favorite blends.
