Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Smooth Bent Egg (4) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

The bent Egg isn't a shape found with frequency in Savinelli's portfolio, making this rendition an especially pleasing addition. Furthermore, it's part of the Italian workshop's prestigious Autograph line, in which artisans handcraft pieces with lots of creativity in mind, often resulting in Freehand-like designs. The forward-protruding, full-bodied bowl displays a sloping, rounded rim and a sweeping, lifting heel. Out back, a rather elongated, gently rising shank is topped by an abbreviated saddle stem for a well-balanced presentation. The stummel is dressed in a warm auburn stain, highlighting handsome horizontal and flame grain on all flanks.
