This strikingly angular bent Dublin is quite handsome, with a high-kicking length of shank and stem that elegantly balances a hearty bowl, all courtesy of Savinelli's singular Autograph line. This pipe comprises the work of one of the Italian marque's most experienced artisans set free from the constraints of a shape chart, ensuring that no one piece is the same as another. Up front, the bowl sits atop a rounded heel, its walls tapering gently to a slightly pinched waist before flaring out to a broad rim that's dipped at the fore, adding a touch of dynamism to the shape and drawing the eye forward. Balancing this is the shank and stem, its rather aerial arc and comfortable downturn promising comfortable smoking and wresting a bit of the visual weight away from the bowl. A dark auburn sandblast dresses the stummel here, revealing stacks of rippling growth rings across the bowl and contrasting well against the tan accent at the stem base.
