An Author with a Volcano-esque disposition, this pipe is part of Savinelli's hand-crafted Autograph line and doesn't comport with any shape chart. A prominent lifting and rather convex heel protrudes outward, followed by a gradual taper to the rim, the broad curves resulting in a comfortable fit in hand. Out back, a more slender shank curls gently upward and is topped by a multi-colored acrylic stem. This piece is dressed in an earthy sandblast, lending textural intrigue and highlighting the briar's handsome growth rings.
