Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Volcano (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph pipes showcase the work of a single one of the marque's talented artisans, free from the restrictions of a shape chart and able to freely express their creative vision. This Volcano is unlike many that we've seen from the series before, presenting with a look that's a bit softer than usual, especially at the lower fore. The base that surrounds this piece, rather than being a firm ridge, is a rounded edge that surrounds the bowl before rising to a pair of more rigid lines at the uplift of the shank. Said shank is nearly acrobatic in its stance and supports a demurely curved stem of black acrylic, the outline of the pair close to a Reuleaux triangle as the two taper to the button. Up front, the bowl takes on its own sleek taper to the rim, and the heel is pronounced, showcasing the aforementioned softness thanks to its roundness. Dressed in a crisp, darkly-stained sandblast, this pipe is rich with texture and showcases some well-defined ring grain through the bowl.
