This playful bent Dublin from Savinelli's Autograph line is a fine example of the series' emphasis on creativity and expressive shaping. The wide rim of this piece flares gently as it rises and urges forward at the fore, creating a dynamic silhouette with a touch of momentum. The bowl's thick walls taper lithely to a similarly forward jutting, rounded, heel that transitions to a compressed, round shank and gently bent saddle stem which offers a slight bit of added elegance to the composition. The stummel is dressed in a dark, earthy sandblast that reveals excellent ring grain and this handsome pipe will be sure to please fans of Savinelli's freer side.
