A plump, supple piece of Italian craftsmanship, this bent Apple, as part of Savinelli's Artisan series, was handcrafted by one of the workshop's most experienced artisans. The line's pipes tend to highly organic in nature, making this fairly traditional piece something of an outlier. Nevertheless, it's a handsome design, one that sees a plump, gently canted bowl posed at the fore of a demurely curved shank-and-stem arrangement. It offers plenty of substance for the fingers to grasp, and it's finished in a fetching smooth finish that highlights some nice flame grain around the bowl.
