Representing the more whimsical side of Savinelli's Artisan line, this Freehand is rather striking in terms of build, appearing at once as floral and reserved. Gently canted, the supple bowl stands atop a plump heel and displays a subtle taper to its rim. Said rim juts at its fore, lending further forward-driving momentum to the shape in silhouette. The bowl holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively slender oval shank and saddle stem that bring up the rear. Dressed in an auburn smooth finish, the stummel displays handsome strands of windswept flame grain across the flanks of the bowl.
