A unique combination of Danish and Italian style, this bent Acorn from Savinelli's Autograph series is one-of-a-kind, in keeping with the line's penchant for experimental shaping. The rounded rim puffs up from the softly tapered bowl in a typical Danish fashion, while the large size of the bowl reflects Italian tastes in this delightful design. The heel comes to a defined point before sweeping back to the transition in a smooth but muscular arc, making the bowl very comfortable to cradle in hand. The round shank curves upward toward a bent acrylic saddle stem for easy clenching. The stummel is dressed in an auburn smooth finish that highlights an impressive showing of grain around the bowl.
