Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Creativity Carved Bent Billiard (with Box) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph series is comprised of pipes that fall outside of the Italian workshop's standard shape chart. Each of the lines' shapes are handcrafted by the firm's most experienced artisans, who are given complete creative freedom to follow their personal vision, resulting in a plethora of unique and highly collectible designs. Even among the Autograph series' distinctive output, however, there is a subset that stands out among all the rest: the Savinelli Creativity. These Creativity pipes are truly one-of-kind and boast some of the finest finishing, shaping, and grain the workshop has to offer.

This particular Creativity offering takes the form of a bent Billiard, though at first glance you may not recognize it as such, as this piece has been carved in a unique pattern of ridges and channels, lending the entire composition a high organic appearance. Evoking the look of certain Danish Fancy Freehand briars, this piece features a tall, stout-walled bowl that's deep of chamber and covered in finger-pleasing texture. Sharp, stepped ridges climb all sides of the bowl and seemingly mirror the look of a flower beginning to bloom. Said bowl is poised at the fore of a muscular shank and a demurely curved mouthpiece, the latter of which ensures a comfortable smoking posture. A warm, honey-blonde smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights a stunning showing of grain throughout the briar, while a electric blue accent adorns the shank end and ties the entire composition together with a dose of vibrant color.
