Savinelli Autograph: Artisan Rusticated Paneled Bent Billiard (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

The Savinelli family's legacy began when Achille Savinelli opened a humble tobacco and pipe shop in 1876, by 1948, Savinelli was one of the largest pipe manufacturers in the world. Savinelli typically adheres to their traditional shape chart, but Savinelli's Autograph line focuses on freehand shapes crafted from their finest burls of briar and individually hand-carved by a few select artisans. This paneled bent Billiard by Savinelli is a supremely muscular rendition of the shape, as the bent shank-and-stem combination retains a stout thickness before the yellow acrylic stem dramatically dives into the bit. The robust bowl features flat panels and an asymmetrical, convex bowl, pairing firm rigidity to organic dynamism. Furthermore, the bowl is dressed in a dark, red rustication that is carved to mimic the exposed growth rings of a sandblast, giving the pipe additional tactile intrigue. Additionally, this pipe was crafted to accommodate a 6mm filter.
