Savinelli's Autograph line offers unique pipes that fall outside of the Italian firm's usual shape chart. Each piece in the series is handcrafted by one of Savinelli's most experienced artisans, who are given complete creative freedom and allowed to follow their personal visions. This bent Apple is a fetching showcase of what the line has to offer. Shape-wise, this piece features a plump, softly rounded bowl that's posed at the fore of an upturned oval shank and an a demurely curved saddle stem. The shank's subtle contours nicely mirror the bowl's curvaceous walls, while the stem's cream and tone hues add some vibrancy to the pipe's otherwise muted color palette. Dressed in a crisp sandblast, the stummel offers a wealth of engaging visual and tactile intrigue.
