Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Bent Dublin (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph is the Italian marque's limited-production, handmade series, utilizing specially aged extra-extra plateau briar and being crafted by only three of the brand's most experienced carvers. From start to finish, the process of crafting a single one of these pipes is handled by a single one of these veteran craftsmen, the series providing them with design freedom and allowing them to express their personal creativity. This strikingly angular bent Dublin is quite handsome, with a high-kicking length of shank and stem that elegantly balances a hearty bowl. Up front, said bowl sits atop a rounded, pronounced heel, its walls taking on an impressive flare out to a broad rim crowned with a wreath of plateau. Balancing this is the shank and stem, its lifting arc and comfortable downturn promising comfortable smoking and wresting a bit of the visual weight away from the bowl. A dark auburn sandblast dresses the stummel here, revealing stacks of rippling growth rings across the bowl.
