Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe

The Savinelli family's legacy began when Achille Savinelli opened a humble tobacco and pipe shop in 1876, by 1948, Savinelli was one of the largest pipe manufacturers in the world. Savinelli typically adheres to their traditional shape chart, but Savinelli's Autograph line focuses on freehand shapes crafted from their finest burls of briar and individually hand-carved by a few select artisans. This bent Apple by Savinelli features a plump, spherical bowl that would typically draw most of the attention, but the shank here steals the show. A stubby upward facing shank, the fore features a rectangular disposition, whereas the aft is rounded and descends into a sharp arc at the bottom of the shank, offering a aesthetic contrast to the convex shank face dressed in a smooth finish. A well-bent acrylic stem rises out of the unique shank, offering a few bevels and accents of its own. Additionally, this pipe was crafted to accommodate a 6mm filter.
