As a part of the Autograph line from Savinelli, this impressive bent Dublin comprises the work of a single one of the Italian marque's experienced artisans. The freedom from the shape chart that this series affords enables the artisan to express themselves fully, something seen here in the flared shank end and hearty bowl. At over six and a half inches long, this is a palm-filling briar, the bowl expanding strikingly from a firm heel to a vast rim that's crowned in craggy plateau: the thick, insulating walls here surrounding a capacious chamber. The transition is rather tightly knit, though leaves enough room to drape a digit, and leads to the flaring shank, its end mirroring the rim's plateau covering before introducing us to a demurely curved, stylized stem. Dressing this piece is a vibrant, auburn-toned smooth finish, revealing a wealth of wrapping flame grain around the bowl and offering plenty of visual appeal.
