Savinelli's Autograph line presents pipes that are entirely hand-crafted from select briar blocks by the workshop's most experienced artisans, who are given creative freedom in carving them, which often results in more Freehand-like pieces. This Author is a more traditional piece for the Autograph line, featuring a broad, plump bowl that rests on a soft heel at the fore of a balanced round shank and comfortably bent stem of orange acrylic. Dressed in a crisp, earthy sandblast, the stummel offers plenty of engaging texture for the fingers to explore.
