The Autograph line offers distinctive pipes that fall outside of Savinelli's usual shape chart. Each pipe in the series is handcrafted by one of the Italian firm's most experienced artisans, who are given complete creative freedom and allowed to pursue their personal vision. This bent Dublin deftly showcases what the line has to offer, presenting the whimsical shaping cues associated with the series. Shape-wise, this piece boasts a tall, thick-walled bowl that stands at the fore of an upturned oval shank and a demurely curved saddle stem. The stout bowl stands over three inches tall and takes on a dramatic forward cant as it expends from the heel. The bowl's active posture imbues the totality of form with a dynamic appearance that's accentuated by the vaulted shank and stem. Dressed in a dark sandblast, the stummel displays rippling grain across the bowl and shank alike.
