Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Smooth Bent Dublin (6) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph is the Italian marque's limited-production, handmade series, utilizing specially aged extra-extra plateau briar and being crafted by only three of the brand's most experienced carvers. From start to finish, the process of crafting a single one of these pipes is handled by a single one of these veteran craftsmen, the series providing them with design freedom and allowing them to express their personal creativity. This bent Dublin is actually one of the series' more conservatively shaped designs, though it is still quite muscular, and feels quite comfortable in hand. The forward-urging bowl is rather reserved of height and features an easy, understated flare toward the domed rim, its thick walls supported by a pronounced heel. Dressed in a warm stain, the stummel here showcases a wealth of handsome grain throughout, with flickering flame around the bowl and birdseye across the rim. Additionally, a vibrant blue acrylic stem completes the composition and introduces a wealth of rich contrast to the look of this pipe.
