Savinelli's Autograph line offers pipes that fall outside of the Italian firm's usual shape chart, and are handcrafted by the workshop's most experienced artisans. Those artisans are given complete creative freedom when shaping the line's pipes, resulting in charming pieces like this bent Brandy. Bringing to mind the Oom Paul shape, this piece sees a plump, full-bodied bowl positioned at the fore of a vertically inclined shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank and stem add a pronounced verticality to the composition and promote a comfortable smoking posture from which to enjoy the bowl's capacious chamber. A warm smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights striking grain across the bowl's flanks.
