Savinelli's illustrious Autograph series consists of pipes hand-carved by select individual artisans from start to finish. Shapes can span a wide range, with the series comprising both venerated classics and stunning Freehands. The Artisan sub-series offers the same standard of quality at a more accessible price range. This bent Dublin from Savinelli's Autograph line is characterized by its supple musculature featured throughout, creating a pipe whose figure contours well to the hand. The bowl stands tall and firm, its smooth walls flaring from the jutting heel and expanding toward the flat, subtly sloped rim. From a low-slung transition, a muscular shank expands slightly as it meets a stocky stem with a delayed taper and a gentle bend toward the bit. The stummel wears a warm, auburn stain displaying windswept vertical grain around the bowl.
