Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Smooth Bent Dublin Sitter (8) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph is the Italian marque's limited-production, handmade series, utilizing specially aged extra-extra plateau briar and being crafted by only three of the brand's most experienced carvers. From start to finish, the process of crafting a single one of these pipes is handled by a single one of these veteran craftsmen, the series providing them with design freedom and allowing them to express their personal creativity. This bent Dublin sitter is a dynamic pipe, one with ample forward-urging momentum, and it balances its ample bowl with a more slender shank and stem. Said shank and stem lift out from a wide transition, the shank flaring out to a plateau-capped face that acts as the junction to a sleekly tapering stem of amber-toned acrylic. A flat heel supports the entire composition and poises it in an active stance, lifting the shank and stem and pushing the bowl forward while the bowl grows flaring walls up toward a domed rim. Dressed in a warm, light stain, the stummel showcases handsome grain throughout, its hues complemented by those of the stem.
