A distinctly Italian design, this Fan from Savinelli's Autograph line is bold, palm-filling piece, replete with flowing curves for a shape that contours well to the hand. The Fan shape is characterized by a broadly flaring figure, with the bowl and shank forming a continuous arc as the walls rise from a prominent heel at the center toward a crown of rugged plateau. Joined to the aft of the stummel here is a bent stem fashioned from jet-black acrylic, featuring a pair of plump expansion rings at its base. Dressing this piece is a dark, crisp sandblast revealing waves of rippling growth rings across the briar's expansive surface.
