Likewise, the Sigla sub-series features pieces that undergo the same process but with more modest proportions, as seen here. This bent Dublin from Savinelli's Autograph line is rendered with a Zulu-esque disposition, displaying a palpable sense of momentum throughout its design. Possessed of a forward-urging posture, the bowl's figure shows a steady flare as supple walls climb from the rounded heel toward the subtly chamfered rim. A sturdy, slender shank lifts from a broad transition, carrying a pair of firm ridgelines along the top into a bent tapered stem, the pair granting this piece a poised profile. The stummel wears a smooth, auburn finish that reveals wisps of windswept vertical grain across both flanks.
