Savinelli Autograph: Sigla Smooth Bent Billiard (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph is the Italian marque's limited-production, handmade series, utilizing specially aged extra-extra plateau briar and being crafted by only three of the brand's most experienced carvers. From start to finish, the process of crafting a single one of these pipes is handled by a single one of these veteran craftsmen, the series providing them with design freedom and allowing them to express their personal creativity. The Sigla sub-series boasts the same painstaking approach to craftsmanship that standard Autograph pipes do, though in a smaller package. Sigla pipes are often more understated in their shaping, and they feature shapes that are more closely aligned to Anglo-French standards, though they still display plenty of bespoke details to appreciate. This particular pipe is an angular bent Billiard with a demurely curved shank and stem, a sharp, spurred heel, and a warm, smooth finish that reveals handsome grain.
