Those artisans are given complete creative freedom when shaping the line's pipes, resulting in charming pieces like this bent Dublin. Shape-wise, this angular composition sees a stocky, full-bodied bowl set to an upturned shank and a demurely curved tapered stem. The bowl flares from its firm, ample heel to its broad rim, and as it does, it takes on a forward-canted posture that keeps the entire shape looking dynamic and active in profile. The vaulted shank-and-stem arrangement balances the bowl and promotes a comfortable smoking posture. A warm smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights healthy grain across the briar's surface, its rich complexion complemented by the mouthpiece's yellow hues.
