Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Bent Billiard (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph is the Italian marque's limited-production, handmade series, utilizing specially aged extra-extra plateau briar and being crafted by only three of the brand's most experienced carvers. From start to finish, the process of crafting a single one of these pipes is handled by a single one of these veteran craftsmen, the series providing them with design freedom and allowing them to express their personal creativity. A balanced and fairly reserved take on the bent Billiard, this piece boasts a wide transition that gives way to a rather trim shank and sleek, demurely curved saddle stem of colorful acrylic. This pair is poised for comfortable smoking, and their comparatively willowy build does well to balance the more pronounced presence of the bowl. Said bowl stands on a rounded, slightly extended heel and grows thick walls that taper very gently toward the flat rim, canting forward dynamically and offering plenty of room to showcase the stummel's earthy sandblast.
