Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Smooth Bent Dublin (8) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph line is composed of limited-production, handmade pipes crafted by the marque's most experienced artisans. Afforded more creative freedom, the craftsmen of the line are free to depart from Savinelli's normal shape chart and create unique, evocative pieces that display their own personal style. This bent Dublin from the Autograph line is a unique take on the silhouette, combining impressive linework with soft curves and various textures. The heel is leveled due to soft ridgelines that wrap part of the underside, with one of the lines extending all the way up the fore of the bowl, creating a teardrop-shaped rim. The remainder of the bowl's walls rise and flare with a forward cant as they meet the aforementioned rim, covered in plateau to add textural contrast. A broad transition gives way to a gradually tapering shank-and-stem arrangement, with the latter made of a dark acrylic that juxtaposes the lightly-stained stummel. Save for the craggy rim, the stummel is smooth, showcasing impressive flame grain across all flanks.
