Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Smooth Fan (6) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph line is composed of limited-production, handmade pipes crafted by the marque's most experienced artisans. Afforded more creative freedom, the craftsmen of the line are free to depart from Savinelli's normal shape chart and create unique, evocative pieces that display their own personal style. A common shape produced in the Autograph workshop, the Fan is a well-known silhouette among Italian carvers, this particular example combining various textures, hues, and materials to create a truly unique piece that would add to any collection. Paying homage to the shape's namesake, the fore of this piece is broad, with the bowl and shank becoming one and flaring from a pronounced heel. The acrylic stem protrudes from mid-shank as it bends and tapers to the button, all while its swirling hues of orange, yellow, and black compete for attention. The sleek mouthpiece pairs well with the smooth finish dressing the stummel, showcasing impressive flame grain throughout - both juxtaposed by the textured plateau seen across the top side of the pipe.
