Savinelli's illustrious Autograph series consists of pipes hand-carved by select individual artisans from start to finish. Shapes can span a wide range, with the series comprising both venerated classics and stunning Freehands. This bent Dublin from the Autograph line is an expressive interpretation of the shape, featuring a towering bowl with thick walls flaring broadly from the rounded heel toward an undulating rim crowned with plateau. A sinuous shank lifts out of a low-slung transition from the bowl and flares gradually toward a rugged face of plateau, where it accepts a demurely bent stem. Dressing the stummel is a dark, crisp sandblast with warm undertones, revealing waves of growth rings rippling up the bowl.
