Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Bent Dublin (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph is the Italian marque's limited-production, handmade series, utilizing specially aged extra-extra plateau briar and being crafted by only three of the brand's most experienced carvers. From start to finish, the process of crafting a single one of these pipes is handled by a single one of these veteran craftsmen, the series providing them with design freedom and allowing them to express their personal creativity. This bent Dublin showcases its neoclassical stylings proudly, coming in at just slightly over six inches long and offering a rather stout feel in hand. Much of this stoutness is centered around the bowl, a thickly built bloom of briar that stands on a rounded heel and grows florally expanding walls that terminate in a vast, domed rim. The walls themselves curl and curve as they grow, and they're paired to a thick shank via a tight transition out back. Said shank lifts to meet a demurely curved stem of similarly tapering black acrylic, the pair lending the pipe a comfortable smoking posture, while the stummel shows off handsome grain beneath an earthy sandblast.
