Savinelli: New Art Smooth (144 KS) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

One of the better-known pieces of Sasieni lore involves how much labor and time that maker once spent ensuring their stem-dots were all neat and consistent (noticeably "off" dots are now one way replacement or altered stems are spotted on older Sasienis as a result). This kind of thing isn't a big deal for a single artisan making say a hundred or few hundred pipes a year, but multiplied by pipe factory production volume it becomes a considerable investment. That's the thing that makes the New Art series unusual; all the extra steps Savinelli had to take with every pipe in order to produce this line of briars with composite acrylic-and-briar stems.
