Certainly an Italian rendition of the classic Billiard, this saddle-stemmed Savinelli "127" sports quite a tall bowl in relation to the slim, rounded shank. Fitting to that, it also houses quite a generous chamber: well-suited to long smokes with only your faithful briar to warm your hand. And in the spirit of that sentiment, though this briar's finish is of the darker New Art variety, there's still an underlying sense of warmth there, especially accentuated by the creamy, briar-accented acrylic stem.
