Savinelli: Punto Oro Petite Natural (310) Tobacco Pipe

A classic, utilitarian shape, the Poker is an inherently practical design, with a character that makes it perfect for all smoking settings. Savinelli's "310 KS" is an iconic rendition of the form. Here in this Petite rendition, the overall size is reduced for a more lightweight presence and easier pocketability, and the typically robust bowl is more balanced of proportion in relation to the shank and saddle stem. Canted forward, the bowl is balanced with a flat heel so the pipe can sit easily, while the rounded rim adds an accenting design element that provides a little more vertical presence.

The Punto Oro line is one of Savinelli's highest-quality series within its standard lineup, second only to the Giubileo d'Oro. Each Punto Oro pipe is fashioned from Mediterranean briar that's been aged for more than three years before passing ninety separate crafting and inspecting processes to ensure the strictest standards of quality — taking into consideration engineering, construction, and grain orientation. Only one tenth of all Savinelli pipes meet the Punto Oro's rigid criteria, making its pipes some of the Italian marque's most prized and collectible pieces.
