Savinelli: Spring (413 KS) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-033-61497
The "413 KS" from Savinelli is a large rendition of the bent Dublin. The result is a profile similar to the "404" Zulu, but larger, with more curve to the shank and stem combination, and a stronger angle at the transition. This piece is also noticeably restrained through the shank, which appears quite diminutive in contrast to the tall, flaring bowl up front — a shaping cue that fits in well to Savinelli's Italian neoclassic style. As such, the bowl conforms effortlessly to the palm, while the sinuous bend provides for comfortable clenching.
Perhaps Savinelli's most traditional and straightforward line, the Spring series favors warmth over vibrancy and forgoes any flashy accenting materials. A rich mahogany stain dresses the stummel, highlighting the briar's natural grain in a tastefully reserved manner, and is paired to a jet-black acrylic mouthpiece. The Spring series simply exudes traditionalism, its timeless appeal enabling this pipe to fit in effortlessly with any collection it joins.
