Both of Savinelli's bent Bulldog designs, the "623" and "624 KS," hew closely to the classic English and French standard and refrain from the dramatic disparity between proportions common within Italian pipe design. Exuding muscularity through its diamond shank and broad, ridgelined bowl, this "623" rendition is slightly smaller than the "624 KS" and presents a timelessly traditional take on the stolid, masculine form, with the angled transition and downturned stem softening the profile a touch and balancing the pipe comfortably when clenched.

Each Punto Oro pipe is fashioned from Mediterranean briar that's been aged for more than three years before passing ninety separate crafting and inspecting processes to ensure the strictest standards of quality — taking into consideration engineering, construction, and grain orientation. Less than two percent of all Savinelli pipes meet the Punto Oro's rigid criteria, making its pipes some of the Italian marque's most prized and collectible pieces.
