Savinelli: Granola Rusticated Natural (311 KS) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's "311 KS" Poker is a resolute, yet dynamic take on the classic utilitarian shape characterized by the bowl's pronounced forward cant and succinct saddle stem displaying the lightest hint of downward turn. Its sturdy sitting capability makes it the perfect desk pipe while the crisply chamfered rim echoes the firm aesthetic of the defined transition and cylindrical bowl. It's also a slightly more compact offering compared to the Italian marque's other Poker design, the "310 KS," which displays a raised, rounded rim and a slightly longer downturned stem. While the "311 KS" is somewhat downsized, it certainly doesn't sacrifice anything in regards to chamber depth or its charming practicality.

Released in 2022, Savinelli's Granola pipes reflect a virgin color palette elevated by a custom-cast acrylic stem emblematic of the line's grain-inspired theme. Dressed in a finely textured rustication, the stummel reveal a subtle texture akin to wheat and barley spikes, and the mottled stem displays complementing hues of tan, beige, cream, and mahogany in a distinctly oat-like pattern to support the overall theme. Moreover, since this pipe showcases unstained briar, the stummel will darken handsomely with a patina as it's smoked, developing further character to match the varying hues of the proprietary stem.
