The Favorites line from Savinelli presents long-stemmed designs inspired by those smoked by Clark Gable, Bing Crosby, and Ginger Rogers. Bing's Favorite is presented here — a take on the long-shanked, long-stemmed Billiards the celebrity was often seen smoking. Such a rendition has since become known as "Bing's Billiard," and Savinelli's version here stays true to its characteristic design cues, while adding a slight bend to the stem for more comfortable clenching. As part of a limited-edition release of the Bing's Favorite shape in 2022, this particular example is dressed in Savinelli's iconic Alligator finish, featuring a mix of smooth-polished panels and deep, rusticated channels for a motif that evokes the scaly, bumpy hide of its namesake — all dressed in a colorful stain and fitted to a matching stem of iridescent, proprietary acrylic.
