Savinelli: Luisa Fiammata Sandblasted (515 KS) Tobacco Pipe

The Foursquare is an iconic pipe shape and one that's preferred by those who enjoy sturdy-sitting designs. Beloved as the ideal desk pipe, the Foursquare is a paneled straight Billiard marked by a square shank and faceted bowl for a firm, structured aesthetic. The motif is personified by Savinelli's "515 KS" shape — essentially a bolder, more up-scaled version of the marque's standard "506" Foursquare. As such, the "515 KS" is perfect for pipe smokers interested in the Foursquare's distinctly paneled motif and sure-sitting disposition but who prefer larger chambers and more robust proportions.

A limited-edition series released in 2023, the Luisa Fiammata line honors Savinelli's Factory Director, Luisa Bozzetti, whose legacy encompasses a 50-year tenure with the Italian marque. These pipes represent Luisa's last project before her retirement, and the collection features stummels that Luisa set aside throughout her career, reserving them for their stunning grain. These specially selected pipes — curated personally by Luisa herself — are available in either a crisp, chestnut sandblast or a smooth, auburn finish, and they span a range of the marque's shapes, some of which have since been discontinued from Savinelli's regular-production shape chart. Moreover, only 50 smooth examples were crafted for the Luisa Fiammata release, and each one is serialized.
