Savinelli: Antica Sandblasted (440 KS) Tobacco Pipe

Though similar in shape, Savinelli's "440 KS" bent Dublin is even larger than the "413 KS." This piece presents a lithely bent composition with a gently curved shank and tapered stem combination. The transition from shank to bowl is gradual and easy, traveling inward to the cinched waistline and then expanding again to the rim. The heel is as forward-urging as the bowl, with most of its visual weight protruding in profile at the fore. Large but intuitively shaped for easy grasp, it's a popular rendition that showcases Savinelli's typical Italian neoclassic style.

Savinelli's Pipa Antica pipes present old-stock stummels across a wide variety shapes. Turned decades ago, Antica features many shapes only available in this limited-edition release, having been removed from the Italian marque's standard shape chart long ago. Each Pipa Antica is dressed in a crisp, earthy sandblast and fitted with an attractive Ebonite stem, lending these vintage stummels a timeless, rustic appeal.
