Designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed in 1762, the Trevi represents the largest Baroque fountain in Rome and is one of the most famous in the world, marking the junction of three roads — tre vie in Italian, thus leading to its name. For Savinelli's celebratory series, the Italian marque presents here a smooth, chestnut finish, accented with a flashy nickel ring emblazoned with the characteristic arches of the Acqua Vergine, an ancient Roman aqueduct for which the Trevi Fountain acted as a terminus.
