Savinelli: Monsieur Smooth (626) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

While Savinelli features several bent Apples on their standard shape chart, this "626" is their signature, archetypal rendition. It's also the trimmest version offered by the Italian marque, presenting a leaner disposition compared to, say, the "636 KS" and "642" shapes and leaning more into the traditional English style. Defined by a slightly bulging bowl, stretched heel and transition, and lithely bent stem, this iconic "626" is a versatile piece of moderate size and natural in hand feel — perfect for those interested in an Italian-made pipe but one of more restrained, classic proportions.

Similar to the Tortuga series, Savinelli's Monsieur line offers pipes with an included chamber cap, making them especially handy for saving a partial smoke while on the go — keeping the remaining tobacco from drying out and preventing ash from filling your pocket. However, unlike the vivid pattern of the Tortuga series, the Monsieur opts for a more reserved presentation, the stummel here treated to a vivid, smooth, honey-blonde stain and handsomely accented by two trim, bright metal rings along the base of the jet-black acrylic mouthpiece.
