Out of Savinelli's straight Dublin renditions, the "409" and "401" share the most in common, both being a touch smaller than the "412 KS." While the dimensions of the "409" and "401" are similar in regards to length, height, and chamber depth, the "409" found here displays more traditional proportions — the stoutness of the shank more balanced and consistent in comparison to the bowl's height, while the shank of the "401" is a touch more slender to emphasize the bowl's height.
