Particularly wide at the top, the chamber is conical, aligning with the shaping of the bowl, while the lithe shank-and-stem combination adds tasteful elegance through its curve. It's a remarkably organic interpretation, offering a sweeping heel and softly rounded rim, and all with a subtle forward momentum to keep things lively.
While the warm, chestnut stain of Savinelli's Oceano series remains quite classic and traditional, the line's stem clearly hints at its inspiration. Fashioned from custom-made acrylic, the mouthpiece displays a swirling pattern of vivid sapphire and cream hues, resembling the foaming crests of ocean waves. The base, then, is marked by a steady ring of white, demarcating the vibrant colors of the stem from the stummel's darker shade.
