Savinelli: Fantasia Smooth Natural (673 KS) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

The "673 KS" shape is Savinelli's take on the iconic bent Bulldog design. While the overall profile remains true to the traditional English shape chart standard — marked by a paneled shank and tapered rim — the Italian marque has imbued it with their own stylized aesthetic. Most notably, the shank is triangular instead of diamond in cross section, a signature Savinelli shaping cue, and the bowl features some added plumpness about the base before tapering slightly toward the rim above the waist. It makes for a distinctly recognizable Savinelli pipe, replete with a substantial voluptuousness in hand, while still maintaining a strong degree of classic appeal.

Released in 2019, Savinelli's Fantasia series follows the success of 2018's Oceano line to present yet another vibrant color palette from the Italian marque. Much of this pipe's fantastical appeal comes via the acrylic stem: It features a mosaic-like pattern of burnt sienna and shimmering cerulean hues. It's paired here to a smooth, bright mahogany stain, matching well with the golden tones of the mouthpiece.
