Scottie Piersel: Sandblasted Pencil Shank Stack Tobacco Pipe

Marked by a tall, cylindrical bowl that embodies that of the traditional form, this Stack from Scottie Piersel features a round, flattened base that allows it to sit with aplomb. It's perched at the end of one of the American carver's signature pencil shanks, which look fragile, frankly, yet are anything but, as enclosed within is stainless steel tubing. That engineering feat is signature, reliable aspect of Scottie's pencil-shanked pipes and lends tough reinforcement.
This Stack is dressed in a dark sandblast, lending a shadowy complexion to the overall form. A very trim, cream-colored accent ring separates the reserved hues of the stummel from one of Scottie's hand-cut, fish-tail stems, this one displaying gorgeous indigo and ebony tones.
