With a history in engineering, sculpting, and architecture, Scottie uses her wide range of skills to craft both incredibly beautiful and functional pipes. Her signature pencil-thin shank-and-stem arrangements provide a comfortability in the hand and between the teeth. That trademark feature can be seen here in this Pot, which pairs a squat bowl to the willowy, gradually tapering aft. The insulated walls of said bowl rise from a leveled heel toward a subtly chamfered rim that looks into a compact tobacco chamber. The combination of the pipe's sitting posture and lightweight stature make this a great option for both multitasking and on-the-go smoking. Out back, the aforementioned shank extends from a broad transition toward a thin band of Ivorite at the junction, the accent connecting the briar to a purple-hued vulcanite stem. The pigments of the Ivorite and mouthpiece juxtapose the darkly sandblasted stummel, which offers impressive growth rings, save for the smoothly polished rim.
